Iran Knocking on the door🚪
Wales can very much lose to Iran and finish bottom of the group B as a result. What a warm welcome back to the World Cup for Gareth Bale & country but as we all know the footy gods do as they please. The way things could shape up for Wales should they lose to Iran would look very much an uphill battle. With England being the remaining match and a must win they have a statistically less chance of winning vs that of the United States and Iran. Depending on how the England v United States match plays out, Iran all of sudden look very well positioned to get out the group with a win over Wales. Should things come to that the final match between Iran and The United States will be a fun watch as winner will have runners-up honors of Group B.

For all the talent Wales have, Iran look very much the better team in all regards. The 6-2 spanking from England seems to have nudged them in the right direction. In the 2nd half they've completely dominated the percentage of chances on goal. Hitting the post twice in under 60 seconds and remaining very disciplined in defence, Iran look to hit Wales on the counter, sinking their first WC return in 60 years and potentiallay becoming the first Middle Eastern team to get into the group stages at the first Middle Eastern World Cup.
